Sharing...

I attended the celebration of life today of a childhood friend that was more like a family member to me. It was like a family reunion in so many ways because I saw soooo many friends and family members that I hadn't seen in ages. But, I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by the sadness of not only losing our loved one but what I felt was the realization that we all had at the same time; of just how sweet, short and precious life truly is.
